PCNB Online Banking & Mobile App FAQs

If you are a PCNB account holder, getting online banking is easy! Stop by any of our branches to fill out the online banking application. Once we have your signed application, we will set you up in our system and you can receive your login information as quickly as the next business day.
If you're unable to reach one of our branch locations to fill out the application, you can print the application here and mail the signed application to our main office at 43 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512 Attn: Online Banking. We require an original signature from an authorized account signer to ensure our online banking is as secure as possible and appreciate your understanding.
If you're having trouble logging into your online banking account, first verify that you are using the correct username. After entering your username, you will see your security image before entering your password. If this security image is NOT the image you selected when you originally set up your account, it is indicating that you have not used the correct username. If that image is correct, then you may be entering an incorrect password. Please call our main office during normal business hours and one of our associates will assist you in resetting your password.
At this time we do not allow customers to reset their own password. You must call our office for a password reset.
If you have received an email notification that your online banking account has been locked out, we would be happy to help you reactivate your account. Please call our main office and let them know you received an email that your online banking account was locked out. This will assist our associates in how to best resolve your issue.
*The email may call your online banking account your "NetTeller" account. This is the company that provides our online banking service. If you have any doubts about the security of the email you are receiving, DO NOT CLICK on any links and always open a new browser before trying to access online banking again. The only way to unlock your account is to call our office and have one of our associates unlock your account for you.
Our mobile app is a great resource to easily access your online banking. If you have downloaded the mobile app you will need to use your existing online banking credentials to access your accounts. If you do not have an existing online banking account, you will need to do that first before being able to access the mobile app. If you would like to create an online banking account, please see above for information on how to apply for access.
Our mobile app is available on the App Store (Apple products) and the Google Play Store. Search for "PCNB Mobile" and you will recognize our "P" circled in white with our blue background. Our app is free to use, you just need an active online banking account to access your accounts.
If it has been over 60 days since your last login to online banking, whether through the website or the mobile app, your account may be in a dormant status. If it has been over 90 days since your last login, your account may have been deleted from the system for security purposes. In order to provide the most secure online banking environment possible, inactive accounts are put into dormant status for 30 days before being deleted from the system to prevent bad actors from hacking into unused online banking accounts. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, it is done in an effort to keep your information safe.

If your online banking account is dormant, please call our main office and we will be happy to verify the status of your account and un-dormant it. This will require a password reset which happens automatically when reactivating an account. If your account has been deleted off the system, we will require you to fill out a new application. See above for information on signing up for online banking.
If your debit card has been lost or stolen, you should immediately report the lost card. Calling our main office at 845-225-3688 to report a lost or stolen card is a great option for during business hours, but you can use your mobile app to report at any time, day or night.

Log into your mobile app and scroll to the section for "Card Management". Select the card that has been lost or stolen and then select "Report card lost/stolen". It will ask you to clarify whether it was lost or stolen and explain that this action will deactivate your card. Reporting a lost or stolen card as soon as possible is the best way to ensure no further losses. Please contact our main office to order a replacement card to be delivered or schedule a time to come in and pick up a new card.
From either your mobile app or online banking on your computer, you can transfer money between your PCNB accounts. From the mobile app select "Transfer" then select which account you want to transfer "From" and "To" and input the "Amount" before selecting "Submit". If you would like to set up a recurring transfer, you can select "More Options" and change the frequency of the transfer.
From your online banking account on a web browser/ computer, you should select the tab for "Transfers" then "New" from the drop down. Once again, enter which account you would like to transfer from and to, input the amount, frequency and transfer date (auto-populates for same day transfer) and then select "submit".  You should immediately see the available balance change in both accounts.
After logging into your online banking account from a website browser (NOT through the mobile app), select the "Options" tab and scroll down to where it says "ONLINE BANKING ID". Below your current online banking ID, you will see "Enter New" and in the box you can enter a new username following the rules listed to the right.
For security reasons you will notice that your accounts have pseudo names (or nicknames) like "Demand 0001" or "Savings 0001" These names are used to keep your account numbers as private as possible while you're using online banking. You can change the names of your accounts, but we recommend you do not change the name to your actual account number.

To change how the account is named in your online banking experience, log into your online banking from a website browser (NOT the mobile app), and select the "Options" tab, then select the "Account" tab. Type the New Account Pseudo Names you wish to use next to the existing Pseudo Names and then click "Submit". You should see the changes reflected on your account lists immediately. **Note that this does not change how your account appears anywhere but your personal online banking profile and does not change your account with the bank in any way.
We offer the ability to download your transactions into Quickbooks/ Quicken compatible formats directly from your online banking. From online banking on a website browser (NOT the mobile app), select the "Main" tab then the gray tab for "Transactions". Then Select the tab below that for "Download" and a screen will come up for you to select which account you need transactions downloaded from, the date range for the downloaded information and finally the download format. The dropdown for the Download Format will specify which formats are compatible with Quickbooks and Quicken.

**Please note, transaction data is only available for download from the current statement period and the previous statement period - approximately two months. In order to use this feature, please make sure you are downloading the transaction data in a timely manner.
If you see potentially unauthorized activity on your account, immediately contact the bank at 845-225-3688. The sooner you report unauthorized activity, the better the chance of stopping future unauthorized activity and recuperating the missing funds.

Depending on the type of unauthorized activity (a check, ACH transaction, debit card, etc) you may have additional forms that need to be filled out and we may recommend opening a new account to best protect your funds.
